MENT – Trestolone Acetate
What it does:
Methylnortestosterone Acetate (MENT), also known as Trestolone Acetate, is an extremely powerful synthetic anabolic steroid derived from nandrolone. It provides remarkable anabolic effects with high potency for muscle growth, enhanced strength, and improved body composition. Unlike most androgens, MENT does not require conversion to DHT to activate androgen receptors, giving it unique strength and efficiency as a performance-enhancer.
Normal Applications:
Originally developed for medical applications such as male contraception and hormone replacement therapy, MENT gained popularity among bodybuilders and athletes for its intense muscle-building potential. It can be administered via injection, implant, or transdermal gel. It is particularly effective during off-season bulking cycles and strength-focused protocols.
Common Side Effects:
MENT is associated with moderate estrogenic activity, so side effects such as water retention and gynecomastia may occur. It also exhibits progestational effects and can suppress natural testosterone production quickly and significantly. Androgenic side effects like acne, oily skin, and hair loss may occur, though these are less pronounced than with some other strong steroids.
Administration Recommendations & Ideal Dosages:
Common performance-enhancing doses of MENT range from 10–50 mg per day when administered via transdermal gel or 200–500 mg per week when injected. Due to its potency, it is often used in short 4–8 week cycles. It is not recommended for beginners, and PCT is essential after use to support recovery.
